Finally found this gem for a great price on Mercari Japan. Probably the oldest card I own. BTW the absol plush is a fan-made plush from a Chinese fan I bought off of Xianyu. Was a pain to find a proxy but it was so worth it since the joints are fully posable. Anyways glad I could add this promo to my collection.
Mitsuhiro Arita truly is an exceptional artist and this art is primarily one of the reasons i'm not super impressed with the modern absol releases lol. I personally like the white borders more than the English yellow borders, and it's one of the reasons why I got the Japanese promo of Mitsuhiro Arita's Absol as my first ever Absol card. Undoubtedly my fav.
